In a break from regular programming, here are three great songs. I was thinking about them at dinner tonight with a mob of rambunctious laughing elders. Our server was named Haley (Hailey?) which made me think of Haley’s Comet, by Dave Alvin. What tops that, I wondered. Well, Townes Van Zandt doing “Pancho and Lefty”. Finally, the one that always breaks me, “’52 Black Lighning”, by Richard Thompson.
