About Me

I’m Greg Stasko, a mechanic specializing in vintage auto restoration, focused on European models including Bugatti, Alfa Romeo and Maserati.

I’ve been working in the field since 1990, after graduating from the Jim Russell Racing School’s Mechanics Training Program at Laguna Seca. I also have a degree in Industrial Design Technology from the Art Institute of Seattle. In addition to my mechanical abilities, I am a writer and artist with broad experience including technical writing, graphic design, project management and photography.

I enjoyed almost ten years at one of America’s finest auto restoration shops, Phil Reilly & Company in Corte Madera, CA, where I became well acquainted with the intricate designs of Ettore Bugatti, Vittorio Jano and Marc Birkigt, among others. Since starting there in 2006 and continuing out on my own in 2015, I have successfully completed ground-up engine assemblies of the following:

I am available on a contract basis, either for a set time frame or to complete specific projects. If you have a project that is in need of skilled hands, I look forward to talking with you about how I may help.
