I’m down to less than a week before I need to be in Dallas for a family get-together. The forecast for the next three days is partly cloudy with mild southeasterly winds. I’m going to hit the jetty this afternoon for the last time and Thursday/Friday with my last shots at finding tailing fish on the mangrove flats south of the causeway.
Then I’ll be washing off the salt and packing away the gear for the foreseeable future. The trout gear is going to come back out when I get to Nevada…
