I’m Greg Stasko, a mechanic specializing in vintage automobiles, specifically pre-war European models including Alfa Romeo, Bugatti and Maserati.
In my nine years at Phil Reilly & Co in California, I assembled several Bugatti engines from Type 35 to Type 59. I had the opportunity to become intimate with the immortal Alfa 8C motors in 2300 and 2900 variants, as well as 6C 1750s. My Maserati work has included 3 liter Tipo 61 Birdcage engines and transaxles, the twin-supercharged straight-eight grand prix 8CTF, and A6 variants. Other jobs included Hispano-Suiza, Duesenberg and Ferrari.
Since 2015 I have been traveling to seek out new opportunities and new horizons, exploring the West in a 31′ motorhome with the tools of my trade and my avocation on board. Between work projects, I enjoy fly fishing, exploration and riding motorbikes.
I am available on a contract basis, either for a set time frame or to complete specific projects.
