I’m Greg Stasko, a mechanic specializing in vintage automobiles, specifically pre-war European models including Bugatti, Alfa Romeo and Maserati.
In my nine years at Phil Reilly & Co in California, I assembled several Bugatti engines from Type 35 to Type 59. I was fortunate enough to have my hands inside “The Immortal” Alfa 8C motors in 2300 and 2900 variants, as well as 6C 1750s.
Most of my Maserati work has been post-war, though I was very happy to assemble an 8CTF, a brilliant example of supercharged grand prix technology from one of the best eras in the sport. I’ve been through four Tipo 61 Birdcage Maseratis, as well as a couple of A6 variants.
Other projects included Hispano-Suiza, Duesenberg and Ferrari.
I am available on a contract basis, either for a set time frame or to complete specific projects.
