Out of all of the places that I have visited on this journey so far, there is one spot that want to return to again and again. I spent most of August and September of 2015 driving around the Tetons, looking for the ideal boondocking spot. It took me a while, but here it is: Only a short drive outside of Jackson Hole, just past the edge of the Elk Preserve and onto the Bridger Teton National Forest… A perfect flat spot next to upper Flat Creek (full of trout) and with truly incredible views of the Teton range and the Sleeping Indian.

I can’t wait to go back.

Happy New Year!
